The conversion of the former Matinha Gas Factory envisages the construction of 2,000 new homes, schools, green spaces, leisure areas, offices and shops.

The Lisbon City Council approved the Matinha Execution Unit and the draft Urbanization Contract. VIC Properties therefore has the green light to move forward with the rehabilitation of these lands, one of the largest residential and mixed-use real estate projects ever in the country.

The Execution Unit in question, now approved, foresees the construction of approximately 2,000 new homes, 120,000 m² of green spaces and equipment dedicated to leisure, 65,000 m² of services and retail, as well as a new school and several entertainment venues.
